Returns to Simpatico
June 14th through the 21st!!!


RAMPINI is returning to visit with Simpatico and customers June 14th through the 21st!!!

We are pleased to announce that Giampietro Rampini, Master Ceramicist from Gubbio, Umbria, Italy, will be joining us in St. Michaels from the 14th to the 21st of June. Events while he is here include the following:

June 20th & 21st – Painting in the shop, Simpatico, 104 Railroad Ave, St. Michaels, MD.

June 15th-18th
Ceramics Painting Workshop at the Academy Art Museum, Easton, MD
"Painting Renaissance Designs"; three One-Day workshops are being offered, including discussion on the history and techniques of the Renaissance Art painter on ceramics. Students will receive group and one on one instruction, painting a design on a 25cm Plate provided from Italy, which will be fired as a memento from the class.
Three one-day classes offered:
Tuesday, June 16th, 10 AM to 4 PM
Wednesday, June 17th, 10 AM to 4 PM
Thursday, June 18, 10 AM to 4 PM


$135, including ceramic blank and special brush

OTHER EVENTS WIH RAMPINI:
June 14th – Reception at Bella Luna, Cambridge
June 18th – Reception at Osteria Alfredo’s Easton, MD, Rampini painting demonstration
June 20th – Umbrian Food & Wine Dinner, Scossa Restaurant, Easton, MD. Reservations required. Rampni will present a slide show about Italian Ceramics techniques of various regions and discuss Italian ceramics, art, culture and life in Italy. Cin Cin!

Rampini will also be participating in the St. Anthony’s of Padua Ita;ian Festival in Wilmington, Delaware the 12th and 13th of June. Many items hand painted in Rampini’s workshop in Gubbio will be available for sale at the festival.
