About the Event

Are you a lover of Italian wines? In addition to our complimentary daily wine tastings, join us every Saturday as we introduce new wines to you from all over Italy. You will taste up to 3 wines that we will choose to offer to "expand your palate" and we will share food pairing ideas too!

Erminia will be offering her Family's amazing Aglianico del Vulture wines from Mount Vulture in Basilicata:

D’Angelo Aglianico del Vulture 2020 - 100% Aglianico. A harmonious, medium- to full-bodied red, with sculpted tannins that are silky and well-meshed with flavors of ripe cherry and raspberry fruit, ground cardamom and white pepper, tea rose and mineral. Drink now through 2029. 91 points and Top 100 Best Wine by WINE SPECTATOR

D’Angelo Aglianico del Vulture CANNETO 2021 - 100% Aglianico. The 2021 Canneto opens with an earthy blend of tobacco, flowery underbrush and medicinal black cherry. It’s silky-smooth and nearly creamy in feel, but brisk acidity provides lift as mineral-tinged red and black fruits sink in. The 2021 tapers off long and youthfully tense, leaving a coating of fine tannins that pinches at the cheeks as sour citrus tones fade. The Canneto will require patience yet also possess the balance to reward cellaring. 91 points VINOUS

D’Angelo Aglianico del Vulture CASELLE 2017 – 100% Aglianico. This high-toned red's initial waft of dried violet and tea rose notes transitions to a dark base note of tarry smoke. Layered in between are flavors of mulled cherry and wild strawberry, with red licorice, leather and sandalwood accents. Grippy tannins emerge to firm the finish. 91 points WINE SPECTATOR
