February 25th Micro Winery Bajaj Wine & Food Pranzo event with Marco & Cristina Doria owners of Doria Wines Importers with Adriano Moretti, owner of Baja as Guest Speaker:

Ciao Tutti! Please join us for wine & food of the Piedmont region and a lively exchange of information with our Italian co-hosts Doria Wines and Guest Speaker Adriano Moretti as we introduce you to 5 of Adriano's exclusive limited production/limited exported wines, including 3 new wines brought in just for his first USA tour. Adriano’s current yearly production is about 18,000 bottles (~1,500 cases) of Arneis, Nebbiolo, Favorita, and Barbera. He works alongside experienced enologists in order to perfect his techniques in the cellar but also likes to experiment with alternative winemaking methods such as the use of amphorae. Marco Doria and Cristina Doria, brother and sister team, are the dynamic co-owners of Doria Wines who import these special wines.
For this event, our Resident Chef Dawn will be cooking an incredible selection of small plates to pair with the Bajaj wines Adriano will be sharing with us. You will be immersed into the Roero area of the Piedmont region of Italy as we enjoy talking with Adriano and his life in Italy! About Adriano Moretti
It took Adriano Moretti a while to find his calling after experimenting with different career paths: from waiter and bartender to model and aspiring politician. After finding his "paradise" in his own home, he threw himself into the family wine business in 2014 with dedication and love. Adriano works in the vineyards, does the harvest, handles all the cellar operations, is responsible for marketing and sales and LOVES to welcome guests to his family’s restaurant and interact directly with customers. They practice sustainable farming and follow the Integrated Crop Management approach in the orchards, vegetable fields, and in the 4-hectare (~10 acres) vineyard. He views his job as a mission “I dream of recreating a close bond between people and the land…Only then will people regain awareness of what they eat and be able to recognize the true quality".
